To avoid disappointment, I recommend that you save the date with me as soon as possible. Saturday nights during the summer months, harvest time, Christmas and New Year are always popular times and get booked up well in advance. You may need to book a venue well in advance too.
Follow my tips for ‘planning a ceilidh’ then decide on what type of music you want. If a specific request is not made regarding music style then a modern English ceilidh will be provided, consisting of a varied range of dances and tunes.
You or the venue may wish to see a copy of the following documentation:-
- PAT testing certificate
- Public Performance Licence to play recorded music at dances
- Third Party Indemnity Cover from the English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS)
